Elusive Life

After eleven years online, and one year off, windonriver.com has started over. The old site is backed up and archived, I may repost some of the old site and it's forums in the future if I see the need. Thank you for visiting, and enjoy.

First, I will answer a few questions that close friends have been asking. The most important question of all, would be "why have you been down so long without letting us know". To my few true friends and followers, the last year has opened my eyes even further to the realities of life, people, ways, and existence. I have seen, been through, and witnessed things I didn't know was possible. Just when I thought all element of surprise was gone, Life gave me a full sky view of reality. Some I will talk about, while others, do not need to be remembered. And even more, some things in life just need to be held as lesson. Next was the question, "Where has my Spirit gone?". My friends, my Spirit rages with faith and truth more then ever before. No matter the hits my Spirit takes, either from people or life, it never draws less. The question is, " Where are the Spirits of the one's that claim to be of fire, yet drown in their water ways in life?". The true remain true my friends, the posers, users, and plastic people fade to darkness. Another question I will answer today is. "What made you decide to bring the light back?". A combination of things. My Spirit, My Creator, our Messengers of Nature, and the few simple words of a new acquaintance, which will be my first subject.

While sitting around the fire the other night with three new acquaintances, (two being of animal), through casual talk came some of the strongest words I have heard in some time. Strong enough to open my Spirit back up. The simple words spoken were "we are all running from something". At first these words seem non-relevant, but they hit me hard enough to think on them. After a few days, the truth of these words not only pertain to the few, but they belong to all living things. We are in fact all running from something. Be it conscious or subconscious. the subconscious being what we wish to block and not acknowledge. Face it, it's there. It may be something as simple as running from a bad decision, or something as complicated as running from our truths. The words are definitely worth thinking on. It only seems like one will keep running until these underlying "chasers" are discovered and dealt with. One's life should be enjoyed, not spent with a lock holding one back. I want to thank you my friend for bringing this truth to my attention. I will deal with my chasers and hopefully be able to combat them. I would recommend all look behind themselves to see what they are running from also.

Let me define the word "happiness" and see if anyone can tell me, or anybody else a different view. Plain and simple, "happiness is nothing more then one's own state of mind". Now, I will explain. What makes you happy? those four words sum it up when they are seen for their meaning. The key word being "you".  In our minds and life, we grow to expect and like certain things and ways. These are the things and ways that please us because they are of our expectations. When our expectations are pushed into another's expectations or simply gone against, it tends to upset one's ideal world. This will cause one to be out of harmony just for the reason it is a dislike. The result is unhappiness. I ask, is today any different then yesterday, or different then tomorrow? No. The difference is that someone or something will do something that is out of your perfect world scenario, thus causing turbulence in your own flow of like, resulting in unhappiness. Repeated turbulence will carry you down as long as you let it continue without change in the problem, or change your mind to make the problem part of your expectations. others don't control your happiness, only you do.

It's good to see some familiar faces back on the site already. I am still in the process of setting everything back up, so posting on the main page here may be slow to start, however, it should not be long before we're in full swing. I have added a facebook "like" button on the home page.....hint, hint..... ~grin~

Put me on trial. See if I'm worthy of your time. Expect the perfect, in your mind person. Fashion me and mold me to your needs, wants, and expectations. Then change...... Where does that leave me?, Where does that leave you?. Who has, and will, hold the true spirit?            ~Wind~
